TITLE:
Sr. Software Developer
Job Duties:
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test complex web applications that support external clients as well as internal business units or supporting functions.
- Follow software development life cycle processes.
- Participate in the requirements gathering, design, testing and implementation of complex web and mobile-based applications.
- Analyze web site requirements and recommend cost-effective solutions technical solutions
- without compromising quality, using Code Metro’s existing technology stack.
- Use object-oriented design patterns while creating the web application.
- Use Web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap frameworks, Angular JS, scripting frameworks for compatibility with popular web browsers and mobile devices.
- Integrate with existing products and facilitate integration testing.
- Design, develop, and assist in implementation of web application security.
- Research new technologies and coding languages to enhance depth of knowledge and to build on latest .Net framework’s competitive advantage.
- Work with account management and support engineering to identify, monitor, and fix software defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and CTO to research and integrate new technologies and database applications.
- Provide the task estimates and status to project management and meet deadlines.
Formal Education & Certification
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and 5 years related work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience with software product development.
- Extensive experience with requirements management software such as TFS Requirements manager and defect tracking tools such as Microsoft Test Management.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Experience in Agile Scrum methodology highly desirable.
- Experience in healthcare industry a plus.
